Ayloffe Baronets

Ayloffe Baronet was created in the Baronetage of England by James I on 25 November 1611. It became extinct on 19 April 1781.[1]

  1. Sir William Ayloffe, 1st Baronet (died 1627), knighted by James I in 1603, created a baronet in 1612 and sat as a member of parliament (M.P.) for Stockbridge from 1621 to 1622.
  2. Sir Benjamin Ayloffe, 2nd Baronet (1592–1662), High Sheriff for Essex and supported the Royalist cause in the English Civil War. After the restoration he was an member of Parliament for Essex from 1661–1662
  3. Sir William Ayloffe, 3rd Baronet (1618–1675), an officer in the Royalist army during the English Civil War
  4. Sir Benjamin Ayloffe, 4th Baronet (1631–1722), a London merchant
  5. Sir John Ayloffe, 5th Baronet (died 1730), Rector of of Stanford Rivers in Essex from 1707 until 1730
  6. Sir Joseph Ayloffe, 6th Baronet (1708-1781), an English antiquary
